Honor the girl to better the world
Mothers raise their tween/teen daughters in a world far different than the one in which they grew up in. In the past five years alone, the surge of cell phone use, texting, Facebook, MySpace, Internet porn and the effects of sexualized media messages is negatively shaping our daughter’s lives. Today’s culture teaches girls they are only valued for their sexuality, not their intelligence, compassion or talents. We live in a world that doesn’t honor the girl.
Mothers often feel overwhelmed and under skilled to properly parent their daughters in today’s new world as they juggle the ever pressing demands of their own lives, work, and other relationships.
Our teen daughter’s need a new style of parenting for today’s world and mother’s need more tools to rejuvenate and feel better about themselves.
